FEDERAL SENIOR PROGRAMS

As your Member of Parliament, I am always here to help, and that includes helping you navigate the hundreds of programs the federal government offers to Canadians. CANADA PENSION PLAN (CPP)

The Canada Pension Plan (CPP) provides contributors and their families with partial replacement of earnings in the case of retirement, disability or death. Click the link below to find out additional information and/or to apply.

OLD AGE SECURITY (OAS)

The OAS program provides a monthly payment available to seniors aged 65 and older who meet the Canadian legal status and residence requirements. Click the link below to find out additional information and/or to apply.

POST-RETIREMENT BENEFIT (PRB)

If you continue to work while receiving your CPP retirement pension, and are under age 70, you can continue to participate in the CPP. Your CPP contributions will go toward post-retirement benefits (PRB), which will increase your retirement income.

DISABILITY PENSION

Canada Pension Plan (CPP) provides disability benefits to people who have made enough contributions to the CPP and who are disabled and cannot work at any job on a regular basis. Benefits may also be available to their dependent children.
